About - Katie Cowell  Photography

Hello I'm Katie,
I hope you have enjoyed looking through my website. Katie Cowell photography was established in 2013, and it has been my passion ever since. I love meeting new people and being able to capture their memories to keep and cherish forever, Sorry that may sound a little cheesy but it is totally true.
I feel that in years to come people will look back at my photos and they will evoke the emotion that they had on that day when they were taken.

I live in the North Wales, Wrexham area. I have studied photography for many years and also hold a BA Hons degree in photography. Being a wedding and family photographer has always been my career of choice. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a photographer so I studied in college and university photography for many years.

My family and dogs are my world and mean everything to me. Photography is also in the Cowell jeans as my Taid (grandfather in Welsh) was a photographer. On many occasions you can also meet my mother in wedding fayers and she also assists me in weddings. So it is quite the family business.

A little more bit about me

Another passion other than photography is clay target shooting, I have represented Wales in home  internationals on many occasions and I have also had the pleasure of representing Great Britain. One of my most proud moments was shooting for Wales in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014. I also love being out in the woods and fields with my dogs Nelle the Labrador, Boss the springer spaniel and Tilly the Chihuahua.
