ABOUT MEHello, I'm Katie,Thank you for taking the time to look through my website.Katie Cowell Photography was established in 2013, and photography has been my passion ever since. I love meeting new people and having the privilege of capturing special moments that can be treasured for years to come. It may sound a little cheesy, but it's absolutely true! One of the things I love most about photography is its ability to preserve not just memories, but emotions. My hope is that years from now, when people look back at their photographs, they are instantly transported back to that moment and reminded of exactly how they felt on that day. I am based in the Wrexham area of North Wales and hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography.Photography has always been the career I dreamed of pursuing. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a photographer, which led me to study the subject throughout college and university before turning my passion into a profession. As a wedding and family photographer, I feel incredibly lucky to do a job that I genuinely love. Being trusted to document such important milestones and memories is something I never take for granted. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and my dogs, who mean the world to me. Photography also runs in the Cowell genes—my Taid (Welsh for grandfather) was a photographer too. In fact, you may even meet my mum at wedding fairs, and she often assists me on wedding days, making Katie Cowell Photography very much a family business.I look forward to meeting you and helping tell your story through beautiful, natural photographs you'll treasure for a lifetime.Katie x
